Romtec Restrooms
The Samish Island Campground Master Plan includes 2 new Bathhouses. One Bathhouse is in Phase 1 and will be built as early as Fall of 2007 if fund raising is strong. The other Bathhouse will be built in a future phase, timing dependent on funds.
Each Bathhouse will be concrete block construction with a sloped metal roof for long life. The interior amenities will include a private men and women's side each with 4 sinks, 4 toilets (or urinals) and 3 showers with private dressing areas. Each side will have a fully accessible toilet and shower area for handicap use. The Bathhouse will have a central mechanical, maintenance and storage room. In floor radiant heat and skylights will provide additional comfort.
The Bathhouse is a pre-engineered building by Romtec. Romtec, founded in 1979 and based in Oregon, is a leading provider of Restroom and Bathhouse Facilities nationwide. They design, engineer and build virtually all types of restroom and multiuse public facilities. All of their products meet ADA guidelines and are designed for high use and low maintenance.
